The People Behind :
The Consulate General of Ukraine in Hamburg is a key diplomatic mission representing Ukraine’s interests in Northern Germany.
Goal :
To design a visually cohesive digital congratulatory card for electronic distribution within a tight deadline. The objective was to seamlessly integrate the Consulate’s official identity with a provided illustration (created by Vankevich O.), ensuring the message remains impactful and elegant in a digital format.
Results :
Due to the limited timeframe, a minimalist approach was chosen to ensure clarity and impact. A framing stripe was deliberately used as a key visual element — not only to incorporate the logo, but to symbolically express the core idea behind the quote by Erich Maria Remarque: “Only in dark times can one clearly see the people who shine.”
The composition emphasized contrast and focus, allowing the “light” elements to stand out within the darker context, reinforcing the message both visually and conceptually.
