The People Behind :

"Shcherbati Tsuhli" is a non-profit organization focused on researching, documenting, and preserving Ukrainian folk traditions and cultural heritage. Their work includes collecting, cataloging, and archiving both tangible and intangible cultural elements of Ukraine, as well as organizing ethnographic expeditions, festivals, and reviving traditional crafts. The organization is dedicated to showcasing and promoting efforts to protect and celebrate Ukraine’s rich heritage.

The final site can be viewed on the Stage.

Goal :

The primary objective was to build a clean, straightforward website that introduces the unique Polissian horse breed and the organization’s conservation efforts. The site needed to serve as a digital hub for event announcements, provide a deep dive into the mission, and feature a dedicated donation system to encourage community support and engagement in preserving Ukrainian heritage.

Role :

As the Design Lead, I spearheaded the creative vision after my concept was selected by the organization. Leading a team of two designers, I translated the organization’s soul into a digital experience. I managed the project end-to-end, working closely with the development team to ensure a flawless WordPress implementation. From initial ideas to solving complex technical challenges during the build, I served as the bridge between vision and reality to bring this cultural mission to life.

results :

The project delivered a refreshed visual identity and a website designed to evoke the authentic atmosphere of "Shcherbati Tsuhli." Through a careful choice of textures and elements, the interface breathes with the scent of hay, the whisper of the wind, and a sense of freedom. It’s not just a site, but a digital reflection of the horses' spirit and the soul of Ukrainian traditions.

The outcome of the project includes a refreshed visual identity and a comprehensive website architecture, featuring a Main Page, About Us, Horses Breed page, Event page, Museum page, and a dedicated Contact & Donate page.

I also initiated and executed a logo redesign: the original version was only available as a low-quality JPEG, which limited its use. I created a scalable, modern identity that perfectly aligns with the new aesthetic.
