The People Behind :
Selina is a Ternopil-based feline club affiliated with the World Cat Federation (WCF), serving as a professional hub for breeders, international exhibition management, and certified feline product curation.
Goal :
To design a comprehensive digital ecosystem for the "Selina" Cat Club, creating a destination for the feline community. The objective was to integrate a multifunctional platform that seamlessly combines a professional breeder directory, an educational hub for breed exploration, and an intuitive e-commerce experience for exclusive feline products.
Role :
Working within a dedicated team of four designers, I contributed to the end-to-end design process for the Selina Cat Club platform. Our collaboration began with deep user research and stakeholder interviews to align the visual strategy with the club’s community-driven mission. We focused on creating a seamless user journey while navigating the specific technical constraints of WordPress development.
I was personally responsible for the design and prototyping of key functional areas, ensuring they remained intuitive and brand-consistent:
Hero Section: Designed the high-impact main slider to capture immediate user engagement.
E-commerce Flow: Developed the product cards and the shopping cart interface, optimizing for conversion within the store's constraints.
Community & Content: Architected the Events page, the Partners section, and the comprehensive Archive system.
Handoff & Collaboration: Participated in regular design reviews and worked closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of my assigned modules.
results :
The project resulted in a fully functional, high-quality WordPress website. However, despite the team's effort, the platform was not fully launched into the club’s daily operations. This experience highlighted a crucial lesson in pro-bono collaboration: even the best technical solution requires a committed investment of time from the client side to thrive. It reinforced my understanding of the importance of post-launch support and the human factor in digital transformation projects.

Project overview :
While the final live version of the website includes adjustments and changes made by the client, the materials presented here reflect my original design vision. I chose to showcase the project through my professional lens, as I believe these solutions best represent the intended balance of aesthetics and functionality. This case study serves as a demonstration of my personal design approach.
Creative Details: Designed a custom paw-shaped pagination for the main slider to reinforce the club's identity through playful yet functional UI elements.
Visual Curation: Carefully selected and edited thematic imagery for each slide to ensure a cohesive and emotionally engaging visual story from the first second of the user's visit.
